In 2018, we partnered with Charlotte Youth Rowing and Behailu Academy to provide rowing instruction to a dozen first-time rowers from Behailu, a non-profit organization in Charlotte that empowers youth through arts, academic support, and community service. During Behailu’s second summer session, participants rowed Monday through Thursday mornings in July to learn sweep rowing in boats of 4 or 8 people.
